Individual logistics solutions tailored to the specific demands of a customer, flexibility, comprehensive customer service and advice as well as full commitment to making things work – that’s what we at Karl Gross stand for. In the sector of project cargo logistics these requirements are ‘standard’. But we don’t limit them to this specific product area.
They are part of our mindset in all our logistics products sectors – like when it comes to organizing worldwide transports of containerized cargo.
Our approach of combining competence, competitive pricing and acting as “coordinating partner” who is actively committed to really support a customer’s goals convinced company RITTAL to work with us.
RITTAL is a world-leading system-provider for IT-racks and IT-infrastructure, for current distribution boards and technology and for air conditioning systems. In 2021 already, they gave us the chance to prove our abilities – and a challenge to meet: RITTAL entrusted us with organizing their ocean freight container transports of IT-racks and accessories to the U.S. – including door-deliveries. Not an easy fix in drop shipping in times of trucker-shortage, but one we gladly took on and met. Nowadays, we are “on board” regularly for organizing their transports to multiple destinations worldwide.
Intelligent coordination and finetuning
Each delivery requires in depth engagement in regards to coordinating and finetuning the single steps with the different parties involved in the transport chain. It’s the details that count. Not the least because every country of destination has its peculiarities and each delivery is unique. Still, RITTAL needs precise grounds for planning when a specific shipment will actually arrive at its final destination. So providing transparency and monitoring e.g. ocean freight carriers’ vessel delays is another integral part of our task. And so is finding intelligent solutions in regards to cost-efficiency and for avoiding or reducing extra-costs. But we would not be working according to “Better logistics for you” if we were not able and willing to go “the extra mile” and find ways in these matters, too.
We are proud, that the path we take is credited – and it shows: container shipping might have many standardized aspects, but customers still may benefit from tailored-made communication and service. And from a team which is fully committed to making things work – for each and every container.
